Training
Our membership with the Pre-school Learning Alliance gives us access to the new thinking in the field of child education and care, we recieve monthly magazines and have access to professionally produced publications which parents and carers may ask to see. In addition to this we also receive on-going training from Pre-school Learning Alliance which is available for parents, carers and members of staff. Informal training is available through local meetings and conferences.Key Person
Emley Playschool use the “Key Person” system providing the child and parent/carer with a key person to help settle them into the setting. The Key Person co-ordinates information about the child’s individual needs and progress with parents and carers and colleagues to help maintain consistency and continuity of care but most importantly support the child to reach their full potential.Term Dates

Our curriculum is based upon story books, we have a two year plan which changes half termly. We have focus areas which are taken from our children’s data.
